Ruck the Stations of the Cross

Valley Veterans ReCreation invites you to the "Ruck at the Stations of the Cross," a powerful event that blends physical endurance, reflection, and camaraderie in the beautiful setting of San Luis, Colorado. This ruck will guide participants along the renowned Stations of the Cross, where we’ll walk the hills and experience the powerful art and symbolism dedicated to the spirit of sacrifice.

Each participant will carry a weighted ruck sack, symbolizing the burdens we all carry as veterans and community members. The ruck will be paced to accommodate all fitness levels, allowing moments for reflection and shared stories at each station. Along the way, we’ll pause for short discussions, support, and community-building. Our journey will conclude with a time of fellowship and light refreshments.
